Frontier Announces Seasonal Service from Denver to Bellingham

Frontier Airlines announced today that it is bringing back seasonal service from its Denver, Colo. (DEN) hub to Bellingham, Wash. (BLI) starting May 17, 2013.

Fares as low as $134 each way are available for purchase through March 4, 2013 at FlyFrontier.com. From Bellingham, Frontier offers the only nonstop service to Denver and the only nonstop flights to a city east of the Rocky Mountains, providing convenient connections at Frontier’s hub in Denver to and from popular destinations, including Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and St. Louis.

“We are excited to bring back seasonal service to Bellingham. By flying from Bellingham, customers headed to or from the Vancouver area have access to our Denver hub without paying high fares or high taxes on their tickets,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Travelers will enjoy our low fares to Denver and other destinations aboard our comfortable A319 aircraft, featuring DIRECTV® service in every seatback and five rows of STRETCH seating.”

“Our community really values having this direct connection to Denver and points beyond,” said Port
of Bellingham Commission President Jim Jorgensen. “We are pleased to welcome Frontier back to our airport.”

This service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft – featuring 30 channels of DIRECTV service available at every seat. Additionally, these flights will offer five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom, and the airline’s SELECT seating product. Frontier’s website, FlyFrontier.com, offers the guaranteed best fares and is the only place STRETCH and SELECT seating is available at the time of booking.
