The Port Commission is evaluating two new options for improving public access through the downtown waterfront and would like to hear from the community before making a decision. A brochure has been developed which details the differences between these two options. The first, in a series of opportunities for community members to give their thoughts on a preferred park and road layout, will be held before the next Commission meeting on December 19th. Community members can view the layouts and ask questions from noon-4 pm in the Harbor Center conference room, 1801 Roeder Avenue. Public comments will be accepted during the Commission meeting at both 4 pm and 5:30 pm, and written comments can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Port is scheduling a series of additional opportunities for the community to provide input and will post the schedule on this website as soon as it becomes available. The Port Commission plans to select a preferred park and road layout at its February 6th meeting.
