PORT COMMISSIONERS HOST “COFFEE WITH A COMMISSIONER”
Commissioners Offer Countywide Discussion on Port Projects and Issues
[Bellingham, Wash.] During February and March, people countywide are invited to enjoy “Coffee with the Commission.” Scheduled in coffee shops throughout the county, these meetings will provide people with opportunities to learn more about 2006 Port projects, airport services, economic development efforts, Bellingham waterfront development and projects being considered in the future.
Each meeting will be hosted by a Port Commissioner who will lead the discussion and staff who will gather public ideas and comments. No preregistration is needed and the Port will provide the coffee and pastries free of charge.
Below is the schedule of the meetings, all of which are from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.:
• Wednesday, Feb. 22, Carol’s Girl’s Café, Deming, Commissioner Doug Smith
• Thursday, Feb. 23, Mount’s Café, Ferndale, Commissioner Jim Jorgensen
• Friday, Feb. 24, Dutch Mother’s Restaurant, Lynden, Commissioner Doug Smith

• Friday, March 3, Master’s Blend Coffee Shop, Everson, Commissioner Doug Smith
