"We are confident the entire region will enjoy the low-cost, nonstop jet service to the Reno-Tahoe destination, as they already do to Las Vegas and Palm Springs."
The airline will launch the new scheduled service from Bellingham International Airport to Reno-Tahoe International Airport with three flights weekly Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flights will depart Bellingham at 9:00 a.m. arriving in Reno at 10:45 a.m. Flights leaving Reno will depart at 11:25 a.m. arriving in Bellingham at 1:25 p.m. (all flight times are local.)

Located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and just 40 minutes from picturesque Lake Tahoe, Reno-Tahoe International Airport is less than an hour from some of the finest skiing, golfing, mountain biking, kayaking and hiking in the world. With the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America, the winter season is at the peak of adventure, surrounded by 30-feet of average snow pack and 22,000 acres of skiable terrain. Reno-Tahoe also boasts 50 challenging golf courses, all within 90 minutes of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The recently completed year-round downtown Reno Truckee River Whitewater Park offers adventure for kayakers, rafters, swimmers and water enthusiasts.
"Expanding the destinations available directly from Bellingham is clearly what our community wants, and Allegiant has been an important partner in making this happen," said Port Commissioner Scott Walker. "We hope that our friends in Reno, Las Vegas and Palm Springs come and see what we can offer, too."
Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to Reno-Tahoe for as low as $158* per person for two-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Sands Regency Casino Hotel) Allegiant Vacations offers low-cost packages with many of Reno-Tahoe's favorite casino-resorts including Sands Regency Casino Hotel, El Dorado Hotel & Casino, Silver Legacy Resort & Casino and Atlantis Hotel & Casino.
