The Holiday Port Festival is a free, family-friendly event held the the first weekend of December at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. The 2025 Holiday Port Festival will be Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th.
This is one of the Port’s signature events for the community and includes:

The gingerbread house contest is free and open to bakers of all abilities and ages. It is open to any age, and any group size, Our optional themed category for 2025 is "HOLIDAY BLOOPERS"! You may choose to enter the theme category instead of one of the other categories. Don't want to follow the theme? You don't have to. Just pick from one of the other categories. Many adults and children make a tradition out of entering the contest, and ribbons are awarded for the top three in each category.

* Family * Senior citizen (65 years and older) * Youth grades 4-8
