Port Accepting Food Truck Reservations on Bellingham's Downtown Waterfront

The Port is excited to announce food truck reservations are now being accepted for the Waterfront District in downtown Bellingham. The Port has two food truck pads available for reservation next to the Kulshan Trackside beer garden. Reservations can be made by the day or by the month.

This food truck reservation opportunity is in concert with the 2021 Community Outreach Objectives to build relationships with local businesses and community members by working together to create desirable events that maximize the use and visibility of Port public spaces. Along with the application, food truck vendors will need liability insurance in the amount of 1 million naming the Port as second insured. Once food truck vendors have completed their reservation application and acquired the insurance, they will also be added to the ‘Pre-Qualified Caterers List’ for the Port’s other event venues, such as the Squalicum Boathouse and the Bellingham Cruise Terminal Dome Room.

In order to make sure this opportunity is available to as many vendors as possible, food truck reservations made more than 60 days in advance at the Downtown Waterfront will be limited to one month (30 days in a row), or 6 separate days booked further than 60 days in advance. Reservation days are unlimited if booked less than 60 days in advance. To learn more about the food truck policy, and the reservation process visit the Meeting & Events webpage on the Port's website or call to speak with a staff member.
