Fire & Story Festival Coming to Bellingham's Waterfront

The Port is proud to welcome a winter gathering of folk, light and lore to Bellingham’s downtown waterfront. The Fire & Story Festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Digester Tanks, promises a weekend of tall tales, acoustic music, fire dancing and much more.

The free festival, scheduled to take place from January 18-20, will transform the waterfront into a beacon of fire, welcoming locals and visitors alike to celebrate the darkest days of the year. Three artistically crafted sculptural fire pits will be the stages for local storytellers, dancers, poets, artists and folk musicians. With more than 50 unique stories, the event is poised to become a highlight of Whatcom County’s winter calendar.

Bring your families and friends of all ages to join us for this free, illuminated cultural experience.
